Leisure operator 1610 Ltd has launched a new digital platform to deliver group exercise classes, to complement services already provided at their sites across Somerset, Devon and Dorset.

Users can train whenever and wherever they like with a vast choice of workouts and classes. Delivered by master trainers via the Technogym mywellness app, there are enough classes to never repeat the same class twice in the first 3 months with extensive filters on offer to choose class by intensity level, duration, music type, instructor and equipment type.

Health Development Manager Amanda Godsell says:

"Staying healthy has never been so important. We understand that some people may not be ready to return to the gym, however we want to continue helping them to stay active. Our new on demand product provides access to an extensive range of workouts and classes on your device so you can exercise in the comfort of your own environment ".

The new 1610 On Demand app is free to try from the 5th to 19th October and will cost only £9.99 per month after this date with a no-commitment monthly subscription. It is available for members and non members.

Notes for Editors: 1610 is a non-profit making leisure trust (formerly Somerset Leisure) which manages leisure centres based on school sites across Somerset, Devon and Dorset. 1610 aims to help people live fuller, richer lives through having an active body and an active mind.
