Residents of Bridgewater will be guaranteed an early sighting of Father Christmas this November, in fact there won’t be just one sighting but many as  entrants gather on the starting line for the annual Santa Dash 5k at Trinity Sports & Leisure

Sunday 26 November 10am

This fun family event really gets the countdown to Christmas started properly as there is a free Santa suit for very runner to take part in the 5k fundraising venture for the 1610 Charity of the Year, Mind.

For an added incentive there is also a free mince pie and other Christmas treats for every fit Santa who crosses the finishing line.

The Santa Dash is a fun way to enter the true Christmas spirit by raising funds for a worthy cause as organiser Emma Warr explains; “ The Santa Dash is a lot of fun to take part in with family and friends and it will help so many people who benefit from the services of the mental health charity, Mind. It has always been a popular event as it is an easy course to run for first time runners and there is a walkers race which starts at 9.45am. So don’t be a Scrooge, get involved and don that famous red suit for the true spirit of Christmas!”
