Suzanne Richards, Get Set Go Manager and Fitness Instructor

Joined  1610 in 2009. Teaches kettlercise, indoor cycling, circuits, bootcamp, hard hit, Spin Hitt. Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer.

Best thing about being part of the 1610 team:- My working day is never the same, I meet a great bunch of people in my classes and am always learning and trying to plan interesting and varied exercise classes.  If I make a difference to one person then it is all worthwhile.


Jayne Lethaby, Fitness Instructor

I have worked in the leisure industry for over 17 years in various roles including team leader, gym instructor, playscheme co-ordinator, Postural Stability and Pilates Instructor and Leisure Centre Manager.

I love the variety of work and opportunities to develop new skills.  I can teach kettlercise, body conditioning, pre and post natal Pilates, Spinal Core Pilates, Pilates and Circuits.

Ryan Wilkins, Fitness Instructor

Joined the 1610 team in June 2017. Teaches Circuits, Move and is a Level 2 Gym instructor  and Level 3 Personal Trainer!

Best thing about being part of 1610- being able to motivate people on a daily basis while helping them achieve their goals whatever they may be


Emma Leonard, Fitness instructor

Joined 1610 in October 2017 but have been instructing since 2014.

I enjoy the social element and getting to know everyone, watching my enjoyment and energy spread to you guys doing the class and most importantly I love what I do. I enjoy participating and leading classes and hopefully you will enjoy my classes too!

I am able to teach indoor cycling / spin, circuit classes and Legs Bums Tums

Hugo Shanks, Fitness Instructor

Hugo has a level 3 qualified personal trainer and level 2 mat based pilates teacher.

He has been teaching pilates at 1610 for 15+ years and continues to teach for the enjoyment.

In his spare time he enjoys outdoor pursuits and does gardening on the side!


Karen Abraham, Fitness Instructor

I am an experienced and qualified yoga practitioner with the Iyengar Yoga Association. I have been practising yoga for over 25 years and teaching for over 12 years. Yoga not only builds core strength, stamina and flexibility it also improves circulation and balance. It helps us to concentrate and focus, and also to relax from daily stresses. Yoga has so much to offer everyone regardless of age or ability. Best of all, yoga builds confidence and understanding of ourselves and our bodies, and helps us to fully engage with the people around us.

Becky Jefferies, Fitness Instructor

Becky has years of experience as a Fitness Instructor as well as stage and theatre roles.  Becky has been with 1610 for over 5 years and teaches Zumba, Body Conditioning, Kettlercise, Combat MX, Clubbercise and Dance Fit.
